Le nostre ossidazioni

PLANIUM has always refused the logic following which we can cover, practically hide the metal with colors, patterns that are too heavy or anodized. Some competitors are inclined to use metal in its physical exception, in its technical variations of resistance, hardness, compactness, thickness and workability and then, afterwards, conceal it under layers of color or systems that tend to make become something else what it already has become a marked aesthetic and material personality.

A shortcut disguised as a didactic fantasy.

PLANIUM has always pursued the idea that metal must be only itself, thus going to work on the concepts of modification exclusively intrinsic to the material itself, therefore: no protective varnishes but waxes, no insulating films but leaving room for standard coating and obviously none coloring, but oxidation operations on several levels.

Among the first ones is the ?Stainless Concrete' finish.

Through a skilful use of oxidation parameters, such as the selection of oxidizing liquids, the calibrated voltage intensity of the oxidation-reduction device and the creation of unique patterns released with specific looms, a truly rare manual shading on the market is obtained.

Our operators balance the various elements and expertly position the slabs in contact with the frames, in order to have pieces that are always similar but actually never perfectly the same to create textures manually, in an artisanal way.
