Tomorrow is Saint Valentine's Day, All in the morning betime, And I a maid at your window, To be your Valentine, says Ofelia in Shakespeare's Hamlet.

Valentine's Day has an ancient origin which means above all rebirth in the pagan age, but it was then with Christianity and in medieval England that it approached that anniversary that binds together people who love each other in a romantic way. It is therefore easy to understand that Red is the great protagonist of this late winter event ...

CAOSCREO is the brand that makes metal the means for modeling shapes, creating multifunctional objects for Interior Design. Versatility is its strong point - lighting, furniture, furnishings, objects - and some of the items designed can be a thought for a new upcoming occasion.

For the lighting, Lampadì (Design by Fabio Marchi) in the red color by CAOSCREO is a classic example of an agile lamp (18.5x6.5x30 cm) that can be given as a gift: a sinuous and rounded line between a rectangular base and a trapezoidal upper part.

Then there is the 2.D Night (Design by Fabio Marchi) lamp that looms over the CAOSCREO repertoire, a functional table lamp. A modern icon with a vertical silhouette, a historic product that started the brand's adventure, also available in a mini version with candle lighting, in a mirror steel version. We imagine it surrounded by a sparkling of flowers that refer to the colors of Yasujiro Ozu's Cinema (as in the preview image).

"Live as if in ecstasy, lying on a bed of flowers" quotes a passage from a novel by Banana Yoshimoto which takes its title from this sentence. On the other hand, flowers symbolically speak to us of a world of awakening, of occasion, of celebration and already of a mood projected towards the return of spring that marries the spirit of Valentine's Day.

Claude and Claudette (Design by Andrea Radice and Folco Orlandini) are then the shelves designed to furnish a wall thanks to the rounded lines with which they were conceived, depicting the clouds and at the same time recalling the sketches of abstract art.

Why Red?

Certainly that of red is a decisive choice and embellishing the interiors with this color means giving them an identity and personality and it is possible, as in the case of the CAOSCREO products suggested as gift ideas, to combine several colors.
