Light is not only the means to see but also light is what emanates the Truth reached through knowledge.

However, we are only aware of the light when it is absent because without it we are no longer able to see. And it is precisely the light that hides and reveals; what is not enlightened is not known. How much remains in the shade is not perfectly understandable. Light allows you to move at ease in space, in the environment that surrounds us. Light drives away fear, doubts and uncertainties.

Light itself can serve to make an environment even more fascinating. The plays of light, if managed with skill, are used to create particular scenic and emotional effects.

The sources that generate and orient light in space have always had the attention of designers.

Lamps&Design

Some models of lamps, which have already become famous among contemporaries, are now consecrated by history as timeless masterpieces of technology and aesthetics. Suspended, in a floor or table version, lamps characterize the style of the spaces and perform their practical function in an exquisitely poetic way.

Lampadin@ by CAOSCREO is made up of 2 painted metal silhouettes, which allow you to move the light source: the first shape is to be applied to the wall, the second is electrified and movable. The latter in fact has a magnetic base that can be placed on the wall shape to make a wall lamp, or placed on a support surface to have a table lamp. Lampadin@ is then embellished with a red or white woven fabric cable, which becomes a decorative element.

Attracted by The Light

At first viewed with awe and awe, later revered, light inspires protection, warmth, love and happiness. It is easy to find it the protagonist of all eras and all religions.

Diwali, for example, celebrates the return of Rama's exile in India in October with rows of lamps. Light is understood here in both a physical and an inner sense. All cities light up with lanterns in the sky and candles floating in the waterways, recalling the rebirth of the spirit and the defeat of darkness.

Hannukà is the famous Jewish holiday which involves the lighting of the nine arms of the traditional candlestick one day after the other. Today the lighting is a moment of prayer for a whole community that comes together to affirm their identity and the victory of light over darkness.

Toward The Light

If once upon a time the Sun, Stars and Lightning in the sky and Fire on Earth were the only sources to illuminate life, the genius of Man has never stopped trying to preserve that magical spark that illuminates, warms and protects. Thanks to simple torches, the torches first and the lamps then it was easily moved and relocated elsewhere.

Wood, and subsequently oil, petroleum, kerosene: history is preparing to fuel the arrival of electricity, the true end of darkness.

The light bulb is an electrical tool that produces light. Its inventor was the British Sir Joseph Wilson Swan who patented it in 1878.

Swan's invention consisted of a thick carbon filament which, when heated, emitted light and gas. However, this idea had flaws: the inside of the bulb was quickly covered with soot emitted by the incandescent filament and thus blackened.

The American Thomas Edison, who patented it with a thin filament, with high electrical resistance, thought about improving the light bulb. Unlike the previous model, Edison's did not blacken the inside of the bulb and therefore maintained a constant brightness.

Enrico Cesana's design for CAOSCREO celebrates this fundamental leap into modernity with a lamp with easily recognizable contours: Lampadin@.

Essential in the basic colors white, red, black, cheerful in the colors, it is perfect to be placed anywhere. In a hall, in an office, in an atelier or in a studio, Lampadin@ will collect all the glances on itself in a few seconds.

The Future Is Green

The design line proposed by CAOSCREO was imagined with the ambition of preserving Nature. Lampadin@ is made from metal, a natural and always recyclable raw material, and respects the environment in every production step, labels and packaging included.

The new lamps are born from a design conceived to limit waste and are made thanks to productions with reduced environmental impact. The materials with which they are made are environmentally friendly; the bulbs used are designed to last over time and reduce consumption.

The Planet needs more and more care and attention.
