At this point any imperfections that appear are immediately evident, however with attention they can still be picked up and softened with shades that gradually brown and bring everything back to the necessary aesthetic expectations. They are the most complicated slabs, the rebels, the ones that end up being the most beautiful, the most personal, the most loved. Then there are those that start from precise, deliberate notes, which become dark in calculated times and ways. They are like diligent and passionate members of a team who are committed to the group, perhaps giving up a little protagonism for the result. They are the perfect slabs, the ones that structure the project, the ones that provide the backbone of the supply. The oxidized pieces eventually add up and arrive at the desired number. The last one leans on the sisters already on the pallet; it is the most tired, almost always the most dishevelled, the sincerest, the most authentic. The signs of an important lesson remain where one never clearly understands who, between man and metal, has really taught and who has learned. In the end, the table to clean, the tools to fix, the squeegee to wash, the hands tried, tell of an exceptional event. They are the witnesses of a mutation of the material.
